How to submit project? (Deprecated)

There are mainly three steps involved in submitting the projects.

Make a video using your smartphone camera which showcases the final working or the output of your project. This video will not show how you have built the project but will only demonstrate the final result.
Add the necessary subtitles or commentary in the video to ensure that the judges are able to understand the content well.
Create an account on Youtube if required. If you already have a Google/Gmail account then you can directly login to the Youtube with your Gmail credentials.
After signing into Youtube, you have to create a personal channel.
Upload your project video to Youtube.
Before you click on the upload icon, choose the option as ‘Public’ from the privacy tab. This is to make sure that we will be able to view the project video.
Enter your project name as the title of the video.
Add the hashtags #boltiot, #IoTMLChamp. You could also add more hashtags so that more viewers can reach your video.
In the description section, write a few lines describing the project. Do not forget to also write the hackster link of your project. You will get this link on hackster.io after uploading and publishing the project.

After entering the details, click on the Publish to publish your video.
After publishing the video, you will get the URL of the video.

We will also need to view how you have built the project so that we can judge it.

Now click on Profile icon -> My public projects -> Create a new project
Give a catchy title to the project. This could be the same as the title of your Youtube video.

Give a short description to your project in Elevator Pitch.
Add a Cover image to your project. Make sure that the image is clear, catchy and tells what your project is. This will help you get more views to your project.
Click on "Continue" next.
Now click on "Things" and add the details of the hardware and software that you have used in your project.
Now click on the Story tab. Divide the story section into three points.
Introduction- Write what is your project about and what problem it is solving in about 3-4 lines.
Embed Youtube video link - Just after writing the story, click on video icon and enter your Youtube video URL to embed the video and enter the title of your project in the caption of the video.

If there is any code written for your project, add it to the steps and explain the working of the code.
Each step should be clearly marked as Step 1, Step 2 etc. Make sure you follow this format only. There is no limit on the number of steps.
Add screenshots wherever necessary.
Add photos of your hardware connection without fail. Show the connection stepwise.
Click on the Attachments tab and add your code, image, or any other files that you want to share.

When you are done adding and editing the project content, you will need to publish it. Follow the steps below to publish your project.

When you first create a project its status will be a private draft. In order for us and everyone else to be able to view it, you will need to publish it publicly. To do so,
Click on Go to your project tab.
Click on Publication settings.
Fill all the details in the publication settings section and choose Discoverable in the search and on platform hubs while choosing the Privacy settings. Otherwise, we will not be able to see your project for judging.
